  • William A. Herbert, 96, of Hot Springs Village passed away on Thursday, June 30, 2016 at a local hospital. Bill was born October 24, 1919 to Andrew and Agnes Herbert in Parma, Ohio.

    Mr. Herbert proudly served in the U. S. Army/Air Corp during WWII, he enjoyed playing golf and was a member of the Knights of Columbus 4th  Degree.

    Bill is survived by his wife of 28 years, Leota, 5 step-children: Deborah (Daniel) Smith, Robin (Kim) Boren, Thomas (Kristen) Boren, Elizabeth Weaver and Michelle (Jeff) Brearden, 9 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

    There will be a private service for the family.

    Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to CedarVale Funeral Home.

    Lee So sorry to read about Bill's passing...and you have my deepest sympathy... Enjoy the family visits while celebrating his life.. Bill had a long and fulfilling life..96 years.. He did well.. Steve
